St. Catharines (Ontario) Labour Council
Last night, two of my colleagues from CUPE Local 4207, Dan Crow and Larry Savage, were elected to the St. Catharines District Labour Council. The meeting was well attended and seemed to go as planned, minus the Presidential election, which was won by the incumbent by a mere 6 votes. It was expected that the challenger from the Canadian Auto Workers would take the top spot. Nonetheless, CUPE is now well represented in St. Catharines. We are sure that Brother Savage and Brother Crow will continue to raise all kinds of trouble! Well done.
